As songs like “On the Floor,” “Good Luck Babe!,” “Squabble Up,” and “Denial is a River” played, JLo jumped, spun, and was carried across the stage dressed in a mostly-nude catsuit adorned with sequins and patches of fabric covering her modesty.
Speaking to USA Today ahead of the show, the four-time divorcée explained that the AMAs “has been such a big part of my music journey and history.” She’s won three awards over the years. Just before her opening dance number, JLo teased, “We’re going to celebrate the year in music.”
