It seems like most of Hollywood’s A-listers never age.

Specifically Nicole Kidman is known for her ageless beauty. The Australian actress is 53, but she could be easily mistaken for being in her thirties considering how young her skin looks–wrinkle-free and glowing!

With that in mind, when Kidman talks about skincare, we all listen.

The Big Little Lies actress has one major skincare hack that she swears by.

Specifically, Kidman likes to start her day by splashing cold water on her face.

She tells Byrdie, ""I think I do that because when I was young, I would swim in the ocean in Australia, so there's something connected to starting the day with cold water. There's something about the ocean—the salt—that feels so good for you."

However, Kidman also tells the outlet that she does not like to equate beauty with looking young (as hard as that might be). Kidman explains, "I just go, in the moment, in the moment, in the moment, which is the easiest thing to say and the hardest thing to do."

Other celebrities also swear by cold water for skincare.

According to Vogue, Kate Moss relies on ice water for her youthful complexion, soaking her face in a sink of it first thing in the morning.

Plus, Queer Eye's Karamo Brown, who is known for his incredible skin, swears by using an ice cube on his face daily. He explained on Twitter, "I use a wash cloth to pick up one ice cube. I then run the ice cube along my entire face until it melts. It does wonders for my complexion, pimples, wrinkles, etc."

With that in mind, if you're looking for an inexpensive update to your skincare routine, try starting your day with some ice water (or ice cubes). It just might help you get a complexion like Kidman's.
