Some drinks can take more time to make than others, and can stress bartenders out during a busy weekend night at the bar. There is one drink that most bartenders despise to make, according to Peter Madrigal, manager of SUR in West Hollywood. Can you guess which one it is?
It's the classic mojito! The minty drink we all love to sip on is a bartender's nightmare to make, especially when the club or bar is packed to the brim.
Although mojitos don't require many ingredients, it takes quite a while to crush ice and muddle mint leaves. “That's a lot of work and that's something you should not get unless you're at a day club or a restaurant," Madrigal says.
So, try to keep your drink orders simple and have your mojitos at Sunday brunch instead. Your bartender will thank you for it.
