It’s no secret that eggs are a go-to morning breakfast food for just about everyone. Not only are eggs super easy to cook in the matter of a few minutes, they can also be prepared in a variety of ways so that your a.m. taste buds never get bored. Apart from being absolutely delicious, eggs are also considered a healthy meal due to all of their amazing nutritional benefits.

Eggs are chock-full of essential vitamins like vitamin B12, B2, A, and B5. According to Healthline, eggs can help you lose body fat since they’re low in carbohydrates and high in protein and fat. Of course eggs are a healthy choice on their own, but did you know you can add things to your eggs to get extra nutritional value? That’s right, certain ingredients can boost the potential of your eggs to the next level.

eggs with hot sauce

In fact, there’s one specific ingredient that makes eggs so much better for weight loss.

eggs with hot sauce

A common condiment to add to eggs is hot sauce, and hot sauce can do amazing things for your body when it comes to weight loss. According to Dr. Mehmet Oz’s website, one of the main chemicals in chili peppers called capsaicin causes your body’s temperature to rise which then causes your body to use energy to regulate the temperature change and therefore cause a metabolism boost. How incredible is that?!

Luckily, adding a light amount of hot sauce to your eggs gives an ordinary breakfast a ton of flavor. Trust us, both your waistline and taste buds will seriously thank you.
