Being a bartender is probably one of the most stressful jobs in the world. Add that stress to being at a restaurant bar, and those bartenders become nothing short of haveing superhero powers. Working at a restaurant bar can get extremely frustrating, and although being a bartender has its perks, it can get very hectic.

One of the most obvious parts of the job is dealing with customers. But many times customers don't realize how much they ask of their bartenders. Many patrons at the bar are usually enjoyable, but there are quite a few things that customers do to really make their bartender's blood boil.

Former bartender Victoria White told SHEfinds that one of the most annoying things a customer can do is to act impatient. "It's so rude when people just don't wait their turn," she said. "They're not the only ones at the bar, and we're responsible for making drinks for the whole restaurant. Of course it's going to take some time when it's busy, just wait your turn!"

She isn't the only bartender that feels this way. According to Business Insider, this is a major complaint many bartenders have. One of the bartenders they spoke to said, "I'm not your personal bartender, so don't yell at me when I'm taking orders. If I skip you, it was probably an accident (unless I've told you previously that I will not wait on you). Just stay calm and you'll get your drink. Yelling, screaming and waving makes me move towards you slower or not at all. I know everyone thinks it's easy to bartend a high volume bar on a weekend, but it's not."

So, try to keep calm at the bar, especially if it's in a restaurant. The bartenders are trying to work as fast and efficient as possible, and snapping your fingers or yelling at them only makes their job (and your wait) seem longer. Be patient and understand, you'll end up with a great drink and the best service they can possibly give.
