J-Lo's trainer, Tracy Anderson told People exactly what she eats in 2016: "I have her eating very clean because she needs really good fuel for all the things that she's doing."

 

He continued, "It's all organic and it's all very well thought out, with the balance of very high quality proteins and a lot of nutrient-dense food… everything is fresh."

Want more specifics? According to the Mirror, the singer also starts her day with a glass of lemon water, and she stays hydrated throughout the day, making a point to drink at least seven glasses per day.

 

For breakfast, the most important meal of the day, she tries to keep it healthy and filling. The Mirror explains, "Kelvin Fernandez, who cooks for J-Lo and boyfriend Alex Rodriguez, explains that the singer tucks into scrambled egg whites and three different types of vegetable."

 

She also sometimes switches it up, opting for a healthy smoothie instead.

For lunch and dinner, the star focuses on clean eating, and incorporates healthy, whole foods into her regular diet while avoiding processed ones.

 

The article says that her favorite salad is kale, pumpkin seeds, crumbled queso, shallots, and olive oil.

 

Although Lopez has tried going vegan in the past, she now eats chicken, grass-fed beef, salmon and sea bass.
