According to reports, the new season of the singing competition has had yet another shakeup. Some coaches are returning, some old favorites are coming back, and some brand new faces will be coaching for the first time!
Who Are The 'Voice' Season 26 Coaches?
Reba McEntire fans will be pleased to know that the 69-year-old country legend isn't going anywhere for Season 26, and she will remain safely in her swivel chair for yet another season.
However, Chance the Rapper, Dan + Shay and John Legend fans will be disappointed to discover that they won't be returning…
Gwen Stefani Returns To 'The Voice' For Season 26
It isn't all doom and gloom though, as there are some very exciting replacements. First of all, The Voice alum Gwen Stefani is returning for her eighth non-consecutive season, much to the delight of her army of fans.
Commenting on an Instagram post about the Season 26 coaches, one fan said: "So excited Gwen is coming back." "Gwen is back!" exclaimed another, followed by several heart eyes emojis. "I am so glad that Gwen is coming back," wrote another, followed by two red heart emojis, as someone else said: "Gwen is so delightful!" "Yeah!! Great mix for the show! Love Gwen and Reba and the other two will be great additions!" added another.
Snoop Dogg And Michael Bublé Will Appear As Coaches For The First Time
And speaking of "the other two" – Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé will both be serving as coaches for the very first time, much to the delight of social media!
"Snoop being a judge on the voice was not on my 2024 bingo card," commented one fan. "What's so hilarious about Snoop is he'll either have the worst team or somehow win it there's no in between," predicted another, followed by three crying laughing emojis. "After all these years, Snoop has literally become a national treasure!" exclaimed another. "Love Michael Bublé," wrote another fan. "Yeah Bublé! He's hilarious and very talented," wrote another, followed by the hand praising emoji and the red heart emoji.
This may be the first time Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé are official coaches, but they're not total newbies, as they have both been on the show in the past. The "Young, Wild & Free" hitmaker was a Mega Mentor in Season 20, while the "Feeling Good" singer was a team advisor for Blake Shelton way back in Season 3. We can't wait to see how Season 26 turns out!
The New Coaches Get John Legend's Seal Of Approval
The "All of Me" singer is taking a break from the show to focus on his upcoming tour, An Evening With John Legend – and he was very complimentary of his replacements! He reportedly told Entertainment Tonight: "It's exciting to incorporate some new people into The Voice family."
"Having Snoop here, he's been here as a mentor before, but having him as a coach, I think is going to be a lot of fun and reinvigorate the show a bit," the Oscar-winner continued, adding: "We've been around for 25 seasons and part of how we continue to stay fresh is introducing new coaches to The Voice family, and I think Michael and Snoop will do really well." He also said: "And I'm excited that Gwen and Reba will be back too because they're both wonderful coaches."
