Shopping at Whole Foods can feel like a luxury—and sometimes a luxury that isn’t worth the price. Sure, the grocery store offers some great items, but it didn’t get the nickname “Whole Paycheck” for nothing. Those prices can be high, even after Amazon bought the company back in 2017. On top of complaints of “quality control issues,” the prices are enough to turn some away.

However, extreme couponers have recently taken to TikTok to share their best money-saving hacks at the store, and the results seem pretty promising. Find all the info below!

TikTokers share money-saving tips for Whole Foods

As it turns out, by combining a few different methods, you can get a whole lot more bang for your buck at Whole Foods. According to TikTok users, the key is to use an Amazon Prime card and third-party coupon apps. Many use Ibotta, which offers rebates on rotating items in stores like Whole Foods.

@m_adisen Replying to @Maritsa $78 worth of healthy & organic groceries from whole foods for $12.51! aisle rebates & ibotta sign up for a free $5 is in my bio! keep in mind these prices are at the discounted prime membership value. i will also get back 5% for using my prime cc ($2.88) & hit a $5 ibotta bonus. if you dont have the prime cc or a bonus, your total will be close to $20- which is still amazing! as a reminder, these are low cost items you can pair with what you have on hand/additions to other things to make a complete meal/snacks! #wholefoods #couponingatwholefoods #savemoneyatwholefoods #wholefoodsibotta #wholefoodshaul #healthygroceryhaul #hotgirlssavemoney #organicgroceries #cheapgroceries #howtocoupon #couponingforbeginners #savemoneyongroceries #ibottaatwholefoods #wholefoodsbudgeting #fypシ #fyp #couponcontentcreator #tampacontentcreator original sound – m_adisen

One extreme couponer, @M_adisen, recently showed her TikTok followers how she got $78 worth of organic items for just $12.51.

Her cart included kiwis, beans, yogurt, plant-based butter, bottled cold brew, a dairy-free ice cream sandwich, hot sauce, and more. Madisen saved 5% for using her Prime membership, and with the help of the coupon apps Ibotta, which saved her $23.49, and Aisle, which shaved off an extra $18.71, she brought her total all the way down below $13.

Another TikTok creator, @doonydoesstuff, offers up some advice, too. While he also uses Ibotta, he’s implemented a saving system of his own. “This is a three-step program I developed. It’s called ‘the system,'” he told followers in a video.

So, what is ‘the system’? According to @doonydoesstuff, you can save a lot of money by first seeking out sale items at Whole Foods, next saving 5% on every item by using a Whole Foods credit card, and finally saving extra money by using Ibotta.

“If you have Amazon Prime, you get an additional 10% off the sale items,” he reminds us. But he warns not to fall for every yellow sign, as they don’t all indicate sale items. Noted!

With hacks like these, maybe Whole Foods can be affordable after all. Will you be trying them out? We know we will! We’ll probably take employee advice and steer clear of the cake, though.

Plus, we recommend shopping in stores to avoid that delivery surcharge. Happy shopping!
