Savannah Guthrie has made an exciting announcement for the fans of the Today Show – she’s going to Paris! Guthrie recently revealed that she and the show will be heading to the French capital next year to cover the Olympics in Summer 2024.
Fans of the daily live broadcast could not be more thrilled, and Guthrie has already been embracing French style in celebration of the big news. In a recent on-air appearance, the ever-so-stylish journalist was seen wearing a Parisian-inspired outfit and shared the same look on social media.

Savannah Guthrie Gears up for Paris 2024 Today Show Broadcasts
To commemorate her upcoming adventure, the mom of two donned a blue USA graphic Olympian jacket, a chic white maxi skirt, a v-neck black tee, open-toed sandal heels and a standout red beret (which her friend and co-host Hoda Kotb) helped put on. The two stars laughed and smiled while chatting outside in New York City with French pastry chef and chocolatier Jacques Torres.
While speaking with coworkers Crag Melvin and Kotb during a segment earlier this month, the 51-year-old expressed her anticipation for her trip. “To quote the Pointer Sisters, ‘I’m so excited and I just can’t hide it,'” Guthrie said. Since then, she’s also travelled to Paris to prepare, and uploaded several videos as she counts down until next summer.

She kept her makeup French-themed in a recent video that she shared along with the Today Show on Instagram, showing fans that she sported a classic red lipstick. She also rocked another white maxi dress that flattered her slim figure.
As for what fans can expect to see when Guthrie heads to the City of Love, she explained: “We are going to bring y’all a behind-the-scenes look at how France and Paris are preparing. We’ll take you inside some of the country’s most iconic landmarks. We’ll be joined live by some Team USA hopefuls; some names you know and some names you need to know.”

Naturally, many Today Show viewers couldn’t get enough of the news, and headed to Guthrie’s Instagram post comment section to share their thoughts. “So happy for you enjoy it!!” one commented as another added: “How exciting! Be safe. I will look forward to seeing the show.”
Someone else replied: “Aur revoir!” as one other fan wrote: “I am so excited about the Summer Olympics 2024!!!” (Us too, and we can’t wait for more updates on Guthrie’s plans!)
