Through a series of selfies, beach snaps, and a rather scandalous photo posted to Twitter, the 7-time Superbowl winner has made it clear he’s proud of his “very fit” new physique.
The former football player has been going through some serious life changes recently, re: retiring from football (for the second time!) and divorcing his wife of 13 years (our hearts are broken!). But clearly neither of these events have bothered Brady, because he looks better than ever!

According to the former New England Patriots quarterback, it was easy to lose the weight once he had more space in his life to focus on his health: “I haven’t had the stress that I had while I was playing so that’s allowed me to focus a little bit more on my physical health,” he explained to his co-hosts. “You could prioritize a lot of other things—career, kids, relationships, family, greater good, community—but at the end of the day, physical and mental health should sit at the top of the pyramid.”
