The 125 Best New Beauty Launches Of 2023
Trader Joe's Out of This World Ice Pops package

Red, White, And Blue 'Out Of This World' Ice Pops

We're starting things off patriotic with these refreshing ice pops in a truly American colorway, with a variety of flavors corresponding to each color: Strawberry Red, Blueberry Blue, and Lemon White. Think of it as a sweet flag of flavor!

These red, white, and blue rocket pops feature a layer of lemon ice, made with lemon juice concentrate; a layer of blueberry ice, made with blueberry purée and colored with fruit juice & spirulina extract; and a layer of strawberry ice, made with strawberry purée and colored with veggie juice. Trader Joe's describes them as "just like those Americana-esque Ice Pops you remember, minus the artificial colors and flavors you’d rather forget."

Shannon at Trader Joe's Obsessed called these sweet suckers "so patriotic", adding that their "family loves them" and noting that the ice cream truck classic dessert is seasonal—so snap them up fast!

Trader Joe's Tres Leches Cake package

Tres Leches Cake

Perhaps cake is more your sweet tooth style? In that case, we recommend the Tres Leches Cake. This dessert is "quintessentially Latin", as noted by the Trader Joe's website, but considering our proud country is made up of roughly 19% Latin/Hispanic peoples, it's a pretty patriotic pick!

Classic tres leches is typically made with a light and airy sponge cake soaked with three kinds of milk: heavy cream, evaporated milk, and sweetened condensed milk. All of this is topped with a layer of whipped cream in TJ's version, a convenient thaw-and-serve "tribute" to the classic confection.

TJ's superfan Shannon noted that the Tres Leches Cake should be defrosted on the counter "for at least 45 minutes" and recommended shoppers "turn the box to the side so that all the condensed milk goodies get to the right areas." Thanks, Shannon!

Party Can Triple Spice Margaritas

If you're looking to kick things up a notch at your cookout with a bit of spiked spice, look no further than the Party Can Triple Spice Margarita, which have been a viral hit at Trader Joe's stores:

@chandlerisaac TRADER JOE’S >>>> $10 can of spicy margs?! Say less‼️ #traderjoes #traderjoesmusthaves #traderjoesfinds #traderjoesnewitems #spicymargarita #margarita #easydrinkrecipe #easycocktail Baiana (Sped Up Version) - Bakermat

This massive resealable can makes transporting and pouring out Memorial Day margs an absolute breeze, boasting an approximate 12 servings in each $10 package. That's what we call a bargain!

The Triple Spice Margarita is made with 100% blue weber agave tequila, premium orange liqueur, fresh lime juice, and a signature triple spice blend of real ginger, cinnamon, and chili pepper. Our friend Shannon recommends serving with lime, ice and some sparkling water to add a little extra fizz to your fiesta.

Trader Joe's Horchata Ice Cream packaging

Horchata Ice Cream

We wrap up our list with an item Shannon at Trader Joe's Obsessed calls a "cult classic": Trader Joe's Horchata Ice Cream. The frozen treat is inspired by the Latin-American beverage horchata, with a rich base including cream, milk, egg yolks, and cane sugar. The grocery giant "horchatized" the recipe with cinnamon, brown rice flower, a touch of sea salt, and even pieces of horchata-flavored cookies. Yum.

We're thinking a scoop of this delish delicacy might taste incredible over the aforementioned Tres Leches Cake. Trader Joe's themselves advises blending a couple scoops with milk to make a delectable milkshake in homage to its sippable inspiration. The brand also notes the ice cream is a limited offering, so pick it up before it disappears from TJ's freezers!

These aren't the only scrumptious-sounding options to trick out your Memorial Day weekend, but we think adding these 4 items to your gatherings are sure to please any crowd and complement any cookout spread.
