Trader Joe’s Thai Coconut Pancakes
Trader Joe’s already has a few great Thai items up their sleeves. We love their Vegetable Pad Thai and their Thai Style Curry sauces, so we were excited to see this new snack hit their frozen section. These street food-inspired Thai Coconut Pancakes combine a simple coconut milk and rice flour batter with shredded coconut and tarot to create something truly delicious. The TJ’s website describes them as “crisp on the outside and custardy on the inside.”
Luckily, it seems like they didn’t disappoint in terms of flavor. Instagram account @agirlsguidetotraderjoes wrote: “this one was AMAZING. Much better than what i expected. I felt i was transported to the street Food market in Bangkok. Ive had these pancakes in bangkok and i have to say.. it tastes pretty darn close.” She rated this new item a solid 9/10.
"Lowkey obsessed," commented @traderyums, who seconded this sentiment in their own post: "i grabbed these on a whim but they are actually SO GOOD! they make a perfect little treat or dessert (i may or may not have eaten the whole box by myself lol) and if you like coconut milk or coconut custard you would love these!"
