Kimberly Guilfoyle, Donald Trump Jr.’s girlfriend, made an exciting announcement on X, formerly Twitter a few weeks ago—she’s coming out with a children’s book about puppies! As much of an achievement as it is for the former Fox News anchor, it couldn’t have come at a worse time.
Shortly before Guilfoyle made the announcement, South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, who many think could be Donald Trump’s running mate, was put on blast with allegations of animal abuse after excerpts from her upcoming memoir were released. Keep reading for more details.

Kimberly Guilfoyle Announces Her New Book Days After Kristi Noem Faces Animal Abuse Backlash
Guilfoyle shared her news on X, writing “I’m thrilled o announce that my new children’s book “The Princess & her Pup” is now available for pre-order at KGpup.com. I partnered with @BraveBooksUS on this heartfelt story that teaches children that it’s easier to be courageous with a friend by your side.”
“And,” she added, “10 percent of all proceeds will go to @FurryFriendsJup an incredible organization which provides complete care for abused and abandoned dogs and cats.” With the announcement Kimberly attached a photo of herself holding the book, dressed in a baby blue strapless dress and grinning at the camera.
However, Twitter users were quick to point out that the announcement couldn’t have come at a worse time. Just days before her announcement, excerpts of Kristi Noem’s memoir were released, including a passage where she describes shooting a 14-month old puppy for being “less than worthless” as a hunting dog. She went even further and described that she shot a smelly goat at the same gravel pit.

If there's one things conservatives and liberals can agree on, it's that animal abuse is not okay. Which is why Twitter is filled with posts from people calling out the irony of Donald Trump Jr.'s girlfriend coming out with a children's book about puppies while Donald Trump Sr.'s alleged running mate is being slammed for animal abuse of a puppy.
"That's a lovely Foreward that Kristi Noem wrote for you," one person tweeted in response.
"Sequel 'The Governor and Her Pup' has been canceled," another joked.
"Man, is this an example of Really Horrible Timing? another asked. "Have you sent an autographed copy to @Kristi Noem? I hope there isn't a sequel planned, 'The Prince & His Goat.'"
"Does this end with the pup in the gravel pit?" another said.
"If this is a dig at @GovKristiNoem, good job," a final person said. "If not, stop grifting!"
