Sticking to a healthy diet means paying attention to what you are eating and drinking. In fact, drinking too many calories can become a big problem for your diet and weight loss goals if you are not careful.

Specifically, keeping tabs on what you drink with your breakfast is a smart idea–especially if you run of coffee. Coffee by itself is pretty diet-friendly, but if you start adding cream, sugar, or flavored syrups it can become the opposite.

With that in mind, keep reading for the one breakfast drink no one over 30 should be ordering anymore because it leads to immediate weight gain!

Frappuccino

A Starbucks Frappuccino can pack in nearly 500 calories and around 20 grams of fat. Plus, depending on the flavor you order, you could be consuming over 60 grams of sugar in your drink.

According to Mashed, "One of the first ingredients in the list for a Frappuccino is Starbucks' signature Frappuccino Syrup, which boasts its main ingredient as none other than sweet, sweet sugar. Each of the types of Frappuccinos, whether it's a coffee-based drink or a creme-based drink, include Frappuccino Syrup as part of the base."

Mashed continues, "The American Health Association recommends that men consume only 36 grams of sugar per day, while women should consume 25 grams."

With that in mind, the amount of sugar in a Frappuccino can put you way over the recommended daily sugar intake--and all of it is in just one drink.

It's not just Starbucks you need to watch out for though. Other coffee shop chains (and local coffee shops) have similar drink options that can cause problems for your diet if you are not careful.

With that in mind, next time you are getting ready to order coffee, try to stick to a more basic order--and stay away from any flavored specialty drinks. Flavored syrups, added sugars, and cream can all turn your breakfast drink into more of a dessert.
