This post was updated on 6/4/19 to reflect the live sale.

The Victoria’s Secret Semi Annual sale only happens twice a year–once in June and once in December–and when it comes along, you’d better have your wallets ready. The epic event just went live this week, and as we predicted, features their bestselling bras starting at just $9.99, panties starting at $3.99, as well as 40%-50% off accessories, free shipping and tons more deals in stores and online!

But the best items won’t stay in stock for long, and since we don’t want you to miss out, we’ve mapped out everything you need to know now:

When Is The Sale?

The sale started on Sunday, June 2 for card holders and Monday, June 3 for everyone else. The brand announced the sale via email newsletter, as well as social channels such as Twitter.

This is in line with our predictions for the sale. The first Victoria’s Secret Semi Annual sale of the year always happens in the first week of June. In 2016, the sale started on Tuesday, June 7. In 2017, the event began on Monday, June 5. In 2018, the sale started on Monday, June 4. Our shopping sleuths predicted that it would go live on or around Monday, June 3, 2019, which a rep confirmed. Yay!

Psst–perk alert: Angel Credit Card holders get access to the sale one day early. In June 2018, Angel card holders were able to access the sale at 7am. Set your alarms!

And don’t worry, if you miss the sale in July, the event will happen again in December. Our prediction for when the winter sale will start is December 27, 2019. But that’s a long way away!

What Is The Semi Annual Sale?

Victoria’s Secret always has a pretty extensive sale section, so what’s different about the bi-yearly sale? This twice annual event features all categories–bras, leggings, underwear, tanks, beauty and more–for 40-60% off. That’s a substantial discount across store and online inventory, and is definitely the brand’s best promotion that they run. The sale features Pink, Victoria Sport, and Beauty brands. No word yet whether the recently re-launched Swim styles will be included (we bet that it will!).

And, as a bonus, shoppers typically receive a coupon for a 20% off a single item for July-August when they leave the store. Score!

Is Shipping Free?

The store is providing free shipping on orders over $50 with code SHIP50 at checkout.

When Does The Sale End?

The sale typically lasts around fifteen days. In 2018, the sale ran from June 4-June 18. You can expect to have two full weeks to shop the event–but don’t push your luck much further than that. And the best stuff is usually gone within the first week.

What Are The Best Items To Shop?

If you shop Victoria’s Secret throughout the year, you know which items you can’t live without–say, their sexy seamless bras or flattering Victoria Sport leggings. So, you’ll want to know if some of the items you shop regularly are worth waiting from now until June to shop. Here’s a run down of the categories and prices you can expect when the sale goes live:

Bras From $9.99

The lingerie juggernaut will put what they’re known for–super-sexy push-up wire bras–on sale during the event. It’s what we all came for! In 2017, the brand put their super-sexy Unlined Uplift Bra on sale for $14.99, down from $39.50. In 2018, the Push-Up Plunge Bra was just $14.99, down from $36.50. They won’t put every push-up style on sale, just a select few.

Edito’s pick: this Sexy Illusions Strapless Bra is the best strapless bra EVER, so you better believe that I snatched it up for $24, down from $49.50.

Underwear For $3.99

The Semi Annual Sale is one of those epic, fill-your-cart-to-the-brim kind of events. The underwear sale is where it’s at. Stock up–and we mean stock up–on undies for as little as $3.99. Last year, they had the Lacy Sexy Shortie on sale for $9.99, down from $22.50. In 2017, the Lace-trim Cheeky Panty was $7.99, down from $12.50. Here’s roughly what the pricing looks like for underwear:

Thong Panty: $3.99

Bikini Panty: $3.99

Hiphugger Boy Shorts: $3.99

Cheekini Panty: $7.99

Lace Thongs: $7.99

Lace Cheeky and Sexy Shortie: $9.99

Editor’s pick: I’m a sucker for seamless panties, and this No Show Thong Panty ($3.99, down from $10.50) are cheaper than anything else on the market. They feature laser-cut edges for a super-smooth, aka non-existent, panty line. Goals!

Victoria Sport Leggings For $24.99

After bras and underwear, this sale has become increasingly all about their active brand Victoria’s Sport, and more specifically their super-flattering leggings.

Last year, the Victoria Sport Knockout was $29.99, down from $69.50, and the Everywhere Capri was $24.99, down from $39.50. In 2017, they blessed us with the Knockout Pocket Capri for $29.99, down from $66.50, and Anytime Cotton Ribbed Leggings for $19.98, down from $44.50. Long story short, you can expect leggings for around $20-$30, marked down from $50-$70.

Editor’s pick: As of press time, these Anytime Cotton Capri leggings ($19.99, down from $34.50) were still in stock in black in almost every size. But hurry–that won’t last for long.

Other Bra Styles For $9.99

Their bralettes, wire-free bras, unlined bras, triangle bras and sports bras will be marked down as low as $9.99, if history tells us anything. In 2017, their Lace Triangle Bra was $9.99, down from $20 and the Scoopneck Bralette was $9.99, down from $20. In 2018, their Victoria Sport Women’s Logo Mesh Sport Bra was $9.99 and Chantilly Lace Bralette was $9.99, down from $24.50. Sexy!

Tanks for $9.99

Last year, they had a basic Bow-Back Tank for $9.99 and Drape-Back Muscle Tank for $14.99, down from $24.50, both from Victoria Sport.

Satin PJs

In December 2018, they marked Satin PJs down generously to $34.99, from $89.50. That was during holiday-time, so silk pajamas might have been a better promotion at that time than, say, the start of summer. But their PJs are gorgeous and great for things like bridal parties, so we thought we’d highlight it here!

Other Shopping Tips

The sale is a bit of a spectacle; there are so many deals and so many other customers who want to get them, so it creates a frenzy. Don’t get carried away; we’ve included some shopping tips to help you stay focused and get the items you really want for the maximum discount. Here they are:

Prices will drop throughout the sale–ask for price adjustments later.

Shoppers have noticed that prices go down as the weeks go on, so if you buy an item in the beginning of the sale and you notice that the price goes down later, bring the item back to the store with the receipt and ask the associate for a price adjustment.

Buy more to save more.

The promotion will include two-for-one or buy more, save more discounts on buying multiples (ie. 5 panties for $15). Shop in multiples to rack up the biggest discount.

Shop online to stack discounts.

If you shop online versus in the store, not only can you avoid the masses, but you can also stack free shipping codes and rebates to get the maximum discount.
