You can now get at-home COVID-19 tests at Walmart!
The company, which has been seeking emergency FDA approval for their test collection kits, announced on Thursday that they are now available to customers.
“This week, Walmart.com and SamsClub.com are rolling out several COVID-19 test collection kit options,” Lori Flees, SVP and COO, Walmart U.S. Health & Wellness said in a release on December 3rd. This is huge!

The tests, which currently cost $99-$135, feature the option of nasal or saliva testing as well as standard or express delivery.
The kits exist on a Walmart landing page called "At-home COVID-19 tests," and results can come as quickly as 24 to 48 hours after they've been received at the lab.

If you have a positive result, a telehealth call might even be available.
The billionaire Walton family that controls Walmart are invested in NowDiagnostics Inc., a startup aiming to design the tests for as little as $10!
The Springdale, Ark.-based company is developing two at-home tests that would provide results in minutes! One would be an antigen test (for active infections) and one would be an antibody test.
