Wendy’s Is Debuting A Brand New Frosty Flavor For Fall—And It’s Not Pumpkin Spice!

Wendy’s fans and autumn lovers assemble! The fast food chain just announced a brand new flavor for their beloved Frosty menu item (and no, it’s not pumpkin spice). Customers in Canada are sharing their anticipation for the latest iteration of the shake, as a Caramel Apple Frosty is making its debut there.

This drink, as Brand Eating reports, takes the original Vanilla Frosty and adds tart apple syrup. It is then topped off with a drizzle of caramel, making it the perfect post-apple-picking (or any fall activity, really) beverage.

While the drink has yet to arrive in the US, fans may remember when the company brought the similar Caramel Apple Frosty Parfait to our restaurants in 2011. That menu item could be described as a layered dessert of caramel and the Vanilla Frosty, and topped off with brown sugar granola, fresh red and green apple slices, and more drizzles of caramel.

In Wendy’s Canada locations, this Caramel Apple Frosty is temporarily taking the place of the plain Vanilla Frosty on the menu, as the Chocolate Frosty is the other available flavor. An advertisement for the new menu item says that this Frosty is made with “real Canadian dairy” and will be available for a “limited-time only.”

Meanwhile, Wendy’s American fans are expressing on Twitter how much they would “like to try” the drink, and hope it one day arrives to the US. (No, really!)
