Wendy's menu is already pretty amazing. From it's Junior Bacon Cheeseburger to its iconic Frosty's, you can't go wrong with anything they offer. Now, the fast food chain is taking things up a notch with their newest menu item: chicken tenders!

Yup, you read that right! Wendy's will now be serving chicken tenders and we are SO EXCITED! They've even created a new sauce to go with their amazing new menu item, S'Awesome Sauce. We see what they did there...

Wendy's new chicken tenders feature strips of chicken breasts that have been "lightly breaded and seasoned with simple ingredients that you find in your own pantry," according to a Wendy's press release. And their S'Awesome Sauce isn't just any old sauce; it combines tangy and smoky flavors to make a delicious addition to the tenders.
"We decided to raise the bar because customers deserve better-tasting and quality chicken," said Kurt Kane, Wendy's chief concept and marketing officer, according to the press release. "After two years of perfecting our new Chicken Tenders and Side of S'Awesome sauce, we knew we had a winner. The only thing left to do was provide these tenders at a price point that customers would love."
This exciting addition comes weeks after McDonald's announced that it would be bringing chicken tenders back to its menu. A little friendly competition never hurt anyone, right?
The Wendy's Chicken Tender Meal includes three chicken tenders, small fries and a small drink for only $5. They'll be available for a limited time only, so you better hurry and try them A.S.A.P.
