After 3 days of BBQ foods and American flag-themed sweets, it’s time to eat foods with more nutritional value that will cleanse your body of all the toxins you put into it over the weekend.

But, before you start heading to the fridge for a healthy meal, there’s one thing you should have before that will help take care of your post-holiday weekend bloating.

lemon water

Have a glass of warm lemon water to start your day. Having it early in the day helps flush out toxins and helps reduce any inflammation in the body.

Start with 10 ounces of lemon water in the morning and then continue to hydrate throughout the day, as hydration is key for getting rid of the excess water that’s making you bloat.
