The 69-year-old EGOT winner’s red carpet outfit did a great job of not only highlighting her slimmer figure, which she has credited weight loss injection Mounjaro for, but also fully embracing the Costume Exhibit’s ‘Superfine: Tailoring Black Style’ theme.

The Color Purple alum‘s head-turning outfit consisted of a striking monochrome Thom Browne custom dress, finished off with an embroidered white sequin overcoat and a wool bouclé top hat from the Thom Browne Fall 2015 collection. She also accessorized with gold finger caps by L’Enchanteur, which understandably commanded a lot of attention!
The Sister Act actress’s look got a lot of love on social media, with many fans praising her for embracing the theme so well! “Living Legend,” raved one fan, followed by two fire emojis. “She’s stunning,” the same fan added. “Nailed it,” praised a second.
“She looks FABULOUS!! Girlfriend understood the assignment!” exclaimed a third, followed by an abundance of red heart emojis, as a fourth echoed: “Literally understood the assignment.” “Whoopi ate this up!” complimented a fifth.

Whoopi Goldberg Credits Mounjaro With 100-Lb Weight Loss
Goldberg's weight loss was impossible to ignore on the red carpet – and it's something she has discussed openly! The Long Walk Home alum has made no secret of the fact that she used weight loss medication Mounjaro to help her slim down, and has spoken about it on several occasions.
She and The View guest Jim Gaffigan discussed weight loss on a past episode. He candidly confessed: "I have gotten skinny. And it's none of my own willpower. It's a shot in the stomach. That works wonders. I don't know why people are afraid to admit it." Goldberg agreed with him, and admitted that she tells "everybody" that she takes Mounjaro.
She previously praised the weight loss injection during an episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show in May last year, telling the "Mine" singer at the time: "I am doing that wonderful shot that works for folks who need some help, and it's been really good for me."
The Nobody's Fool actress went on to say that she lost the weight of "almost two people" since taking the medication, adding: "I say it all the time. Because you can't go from close to 300 pounds without someone saying, 'OK, what happened?' 'Cause you know I didn't go to the gym!"
