The rare moment of divulgence landed Kate in hot water--shortly after the event, Anne Green Carter Dillard the executive director of children's organization Having Kids issued Kate an open letter imploring her not to have a third child.
"The example the British Royal Family sets is extremely influential," she remarked. "Your discussion of having a larger family raises compelling issues of sustainability and equity. Large families are not sustainable." Oh boy!

The director of the organization, which promotes "sustainable and child-centered family planning," went on to urge the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to reconsider expanding their family.
While George and Charlotte are "certain to have wonderful lives… the same can’t be said of every future child," she concluded. Ummm, we're pretty sure Louis has a good life, too.

Issues of sustainability and the example royal families set came up again when Prince Harry told Dr. Jane Goodall in an interview for British Vogue that he wants only "two [kids], maximum" for the sake of the planet.
