Zendaya has been one of the most talked about stars this year, and for good reason. The 24-year-old actress and singer just posed on the cover of Elle for the December issue, showing off her long limbs and incredible style in a pair of chunky Nike sneakers and a fringe Valentino gown with gorgeous, red braids accenting the look.

The Euphoria star, who took home an Emmy this year for her role as Rue in the angsty teen drama, spoke to her Dune co-star Timothée Chalamet in the December issue, discussing their time together on the set of the action film, her experience with virtual award shows, and the projects she’s been working on throughout the year.

For the shoot, Zendaya was dressed by Law Roach, an Image Architect and celeb stylist, who spoke about the Valentino gown she rocked on the cover, saying, “It’s really, really long. But the way it fell on her felt so easy — like she could almost be sitting on a stoop in Harlem on the steps of a brownstone. I’m so proud of it.”

While the cover alone was jaw dropping, Zendaya served even more stunning looks throughout the spread. In one photo she can be seen throwing a high kick in an incredible black Dior gown, complimented by a pair of yellow New Balance sneakers which perfectly encapsulate the young star’s ability to occupy a multitude of creative spaces, not confined by traditional fashion rules.

Zendaya has had a busy year despite the lockdown, filming a secret movie titled, Malcolm & Marie with John David Washington as her co-star. The film, which already has critics buzzing about its Oscar-worthy potential, was filmed in under a month over the summer and was recently acquired by Netflix in a $30 million deal.
If there’s a star in Hollywood right now that exudes more style, class and talent than Zendaya, I would be shocked. And as for her gorg Elle looks, well, dressed down glam and streetstyle is sure to be a trend we’ll be seeing everywhere this season. Maybe beauty doesn’t have to mean pain!
