The official Instagram page of Mugler revealed: "Created in 1995 for the House’s 20th anniversary show, the @manfredthierrymugler “Maschinenmensch” robot took over half a year to design and is composed of individual metal articulations inspired by crab shells and exoskeletons. It was molded to custom-fit the model @jokrasevich’s body, requiring hundreds of hours of craftsmanship. @zendaya’s appearance at the London Premiere of Dune Part 2 marks the first time the robot has ever been worn on a red carpet."
