The 125 Best New Beauty Launches Of 2023

One of the most hyped beauty brands of the year is obviously Kylie Cosmetics. This brand should obviously hold the crown for the beast beauty products of 2017 (and forever), because whether we love or hate the Kardashian/Jenner clan, we can’t help ourselves and obsess over how good Kylie Cosmetic’s matte liquid lipsticks are. They just glide on so smoothly, they’re quick-drying, and the formula is so light-weight and long-lasting. And we should never expect anything less from Kylie Jenner, the unofficial queen of lips.

But, it’s not an easy quest to get one of these matte liquid lipsticks. First off, they’re always sold out. Yes, the brand is always restocking, but to get one you basically have to sit at your computer the minute the restock launches to try and beat the online battle for one. Second, a single tube of liquid lipstick is $17, and a lip kit (which includes a lip liner and liquid lipstick) is $27. For everyday lipstick wearers like most of us here at SheFinds, we know that this can get pricey. And, most of us just don’t have the time to sit around and wait for the restock. So, we’re making the switch to these bargain-friendly dupes. Their top colors, a universal red named “MARY JO K,” the light nude “KOKO K,” and the deep plum “LOVE BITE,” actually have some amazing dupes that you definitely need to try. They’re perfect for those of us who just don’t want to wait online or don’t want to shell out all the money on our cards for these lipsticks. So, wear these dupes proudly, no one will ever tell that they’re not Kylie Cosmetics. And don’t worry, it’ll be our little secret.

This shade of NYX’s cult-favorite liquid suede lipstick is basically a clone of Kylie Cosmetics’ “MARY JO K.” NYX has proved itself yet again that it belongs on the top beauty pedestal with the rest of the big luxury brand names, without the hefty price tag. This liquid lipstick glides on with the perfect amount of opaque pigment, and dries fast without any smudging. Eat as messy cheeseburgers as you want with this lipstick, because we swear that it doesn’t budge off of your lips. And, the best part is that it doesn’t feel heavy or drying on your lips! For it’s low cost, we’re definitely going to stock up on this miracle liquid lipstick.

If you’re looking for the perfect dupe to Kylie Cosmetics’ “KOKO K,” then look no further! Milani’s Amore Matte Lip Crèmes are definitely at the top of our drugstore beauty list, and for good reason. The lightweight, breathable formula dries on perfectly, and the pigments are so rich and vibrant, we just can’t get enough of these perfect liquid lipsticks. And the shade Precious is almost an exact replica of the baby-pink nude we’ve known and loved from Kylie Cosmetics. No one would ever notice that this shade is really from the isles of your local drugstore!

ColourPop is known as one of the top beauty brands in the game for it’s high quality products at extremely low prices, so of course they’re going to be on this list! The shade “Are N Be” in their Ultra Matte Lip is basically a clone of Kylie Cosmetics’ deep purple shade, “Love Bite.” This dark wine color looks beautiful on just about any skin tone, and ColourPop’s formula feels exactly like Kylie Cosmetic’s matte liquid lipsticks. And FYI: Kylie Cosmetics (along with Kim Kardashian’s beauty line, KKW Beauty) is owned by ColourPop’s parent company, Seed Beauty. If you check out the rest of ColourPop’s Ultra Matte Lip shades, you’ll notice that they have a bunch of dupes to Kylie Cosmetics’ matte liquid lipsticks. So, why pay extra just for the Kylie Cosmetics label, when you can have a nearly identical shade and formula for a fraction of the price? Sorry, Kylie, but we’re making the switch back to ColourPop for good.
