Is this the new ironic boombox?
Last week Lenny Kravitz was spotted walking around New York with the latest in ironic gadgetry: a black old reto style “handset” for his iPhone. Although his statement accessory is kind of ridiculous (I couldn’t stop wondering where he planned on putting the phone after use…but after all, that’s probably what personal assistants are for), it also would make for a kitschy gift—especially for parents who have been somewhat reluctant to embrace technology. Even better, we found it on
Amazon in a whole spectrum of colors. Hmm…pink would match my computer case, and probably would make Skype calls a whole lot more comfortable. I could definitely come around to this.
