60+ Gift Ideas For Everyone On Your List

Nowadays, there are so many different lip products out there it’s hard to find the best one for you. Are you a lipstick aficionado? Do you prefer a more subtle lip gloss or oil? Or do you like to get high shine and color with a liquid lipstick? For those who are drawn to liquid lipsticks, we’ve vetted and tested the Maybelline Super Stay Vinyl Ink Liquid Lipcolor, $9.98 and we want to tell you all about it!

Maybelline Super Stay Vinyl Ink Liquid Lipcolor, $9.98

Key Ingredients: Maybelline’s Color Lock Formula

There’s nothing worse than a lip color fading throughout the day. This liquid lipstick’s Color Lock Formula was created to defy smudging and transfer when you drink a glass or water or eat your lunch. The formula also promises to give an immediate shine to your lips as soon as it is applied. Now you won’t have to worry about your lipstick being left behind on coffee cups, water bottles or your utensils. There’s nothing better than that!

Key Features: 16-Hour Wear

I can’t be the only one who hates having to reapply your makeup products multiple times a day to make sure they are intact. The Maybelline Super Stay Vinyl Ink Liquid Lipcolor, $9.98 promises to stay in place for up to 16 hours giving you a comfortable and shiny pout. If you are like me and are constantly sipping on water every five minutes, this was an important benefit to learn about.

How to Use:

Grab the Maybelline Super Stay Vinyl Ink Liquid Lipcolor, $9.98 and shake it for at least five seconds before starting to apply. Don’t forget! Be sure your lips are dry and clean before applying this product for best results. If you want this liquid lipstick to last the full 16 hours, make sure your lips are exfoliated before applying.

My Honest Review:

I mostly stick to lip gloss, oils and regular old lip balm when it comes to what products I put on my lips. I’m not the biggest fan of lipsticks but was open to using a liquid one due to its consistency and similarity to lip gloss. I followed the instructions listed above and swiped a few layers of the Maybelline Super Stay Vinyl Ink Liquid Lipcolor, $9.98 on my lips and was impressed with the color. My lips looked incredibly shiny and the pigment wasn’t too overwhelming which can oftentimes be the case with other lipsticks. Now the true test was how long this product lasted on my lips. While I ate and drank regularly throughout the day, the lipstick did stay in place and there was no need for me to reapply. Unfortunately, I didn’t leave the product on for the full 16 hours, but it did last my entire nine-hour workday which was extremely impressive.

The Bottom Line:

Although this is a drugstore makeup product, it offers a great quality. If you want a liquid lipstick that doesn’t need too much attention or care, this is definitely your best option. It also is available in a ton of different saturated color options that range from subtle nudes to bright and bold reds. This product is worth a try if you are looking for an easy way to change your makeup routine in a cheap way.
