Women Are Swapping Their Boring Water For This Ice Pop Electrolyte Mix!

It seems like food is all I think about these days. What’s for dinner? What’s on the grocery list? And of course, there’s the endless, “Mom, can I have a snack?”

With food constantly on the brain, but trips to the grocery store fewer and far between in an effort to practice social distancing, I’m doing my best to balance being creative in the kitchen without spending (or wasting!) money on products I really won’t use. Recipes that require obscure ingredients that I’ll only use once? No thanks! I prefer products that can be used in several different ways, my family will love and that I can feel good about giving to my kids.

It was this desire to expand my family’s palate without going too extreme that led me to explore the world of milk alternatives. From almond to oat, there are tons of options right now, but there’s a surprising favorite variety you should try: banana milk. Yes, really–banana milk! Our go-to is from Mooala, a Dallas-based company that’s dedicated to providing people like you and me with organic, guilt-free dairy alternatives.

As the name suggests, Mooala’s Original Bananamilk is made using organic bananas mixed with a bit of organic roasted sunflower seeds and a dash of cinnamon. The familiar fragrance of banana bread is the first thing you notice when you open the bottle. It doesn’t just sound and smell delicious–it really is! Each cup of Original Bananamilk is a good source of calcium and potassium, and even though this banana milk tastes sweet and yummy, there’s no added sugar. It really is a guilt-free indulgence that your kids can enjoy in three different flavors (Original, Chocolate and Strawberry) and you can use in all the same ways you’d use traditional milk. You can add it to cereal, coffee (whipped or otherwise) and you can bake with. We’ve all seen the pancake cereal craze, and I love using Mooala for a new version of banana pancakes in a bowl. If you think your banana bread recipe is good now, just wait until you make it with banana milk.

If you’re looking to try something new and tasty so your family doesn’t get bored with the same old meals, banana milk is one of the best milk substitutes out there to add a little something special to everyday snacks. You have to try it for yourself ASAP! Mooala is also available at over 4,000 stores nationwide, including Whole Foods, Wegmans, Walmart, Albertsons-Safeway, Giant, Kroger and Aldi. Click here to find Mooala near you.
