Apparently, painting (ruining) your Hermès Birkin is a thing, and we can thank Kanye West for starting this trend. Last week, Real Housewife of Atlanta Nene Leakes was spotted in NYC with her defiled Birkin. It seriously looks like a 2nd graders art project gone wrong. The bag has some of the reality TV star’s best quotes hand-painted on, like “Close your legs to married men” and “I’m very rich b*tch.”
We did some more investigating and saw that NeNe uploaded a picture of the bag to her Instagram about a week ago. The caption is “#personalized #birkin #neneisms #hermès custom by me & my husband had a fit,” which makes us think she painted the bag herself!!
