The coolest chick in the music game said it herself, “And we’ll never be royals.” So what’s a girl to do if she can only drive Cadillacs in her dreams?? Dress up for Halloween as the person preaching this gospel, Lorde.
The 17-year-old Grammy winner is shockingly low maintenance, so this is a pretty easy costume to whip up. All you need is a black dress, a pair of killer chunky boots (so hot right now), some curling cream to make it look like your hair hasn’t been brushed in days and of course, purple lipstick. We threw in a couple of extra products in the slideshow to help you really nail Lorde’s look come October 31st. Tigers on a gold leash are optional.
