The Difference Between Dragging Through Your Day And Feeling Great On Your Feet? These Arch Support Insoles

Without a doubt, the holidays will be much different this year. And even though we can’t throw over the top parties and get-togethers like years past, that doesn’t mean you still can’t go all out with decorating your space. I mean we are spending more time at home than ever, so why not make it as festive as possible?

And to help you make sure your tree looks like one out of a movie or magazine, we’ve got four great tips and trick to share from HomeGoods Style Expert, interior stylist and lover of all things holiday, Jenny Reimold!

Check out her tips below and don’t forget to hit up your local HomeGoods for all things holiday at prices like no other!

1.Top the Tree First: While it may be unconventional, I like to top the tree first to help determine the balance and proportion of ornaments that will be added. I’m also a big fan of using an alternative topper that ties into your theme. For example, you could use faux sprigs of greenery or prop your favorite holiday character atop for a fun and festive theme.

2.Create an ornament out of ANYTHING: Do not limit yourself to traditional ornaments, HomeGoods has such a great selection of holiday accessories you can use on the tree to create a one-of-a-kind ornament! For example, I used electric mini decorative retro-inspired radios that were each under $20 at HomeGoods. There is nothing cookie cutter about my tree thanks to this special find, and the best part is they play Christmas carols too!

3.Shove and Stuff Technique: Take your decorative accessory, like a vintage resin reindeer or plush stuffed animal, separate the branches, and place the item(s) angled towards the tree. Each accessory should be facing out and then secured with a hook or wire.

4.Skip the Skirt: Blankets or throws can also serve as a tree skirt and you can easily find one for a great price at HomeGoods whether it’s faux fur, cable knit or even cashmere that works for your tree. Style the blanket(s) around the base of the tree and secure the ends with clothes pins. Another trendy base is a tree collar which you can make by re-purposing a woven basket.
