One of the pre-requisites of working at SHEfinds is that you must love shopping. So when our editors are deciding what trends to cover on the site each week, we’ll often ask around the office. “What are you craving for fall?” was the topic of last week’s discussion, to which our graphic designer Shelby replied “The Burberry rug bags!!”
Shelby was talking about the geometric flat-weave bags from the British label’s fall/winter collection–not the floral hand-painted ones Christopher Bailey also sent down the runway. (Can we just go ahead and kill that “let’s hand paint designer handbags!” trend already? I blame Kanye West and Nene Leakes for it.)
“I’ve always been into vintage rugs and geometric patterns so when I saw this bag in runway photos, I became obsessed,” she explained. “The rich jewel tones are beautiful and perfect for fall.” Agreed!
