Women Are Swapping Their Boring Water For This Ice Pop Electrolyte Mix!

As a recent college grad who spends way too much of my paycheck at Zara, I can attest to how easily the massive fast-fashion powerhouse gets you hooked. With totally trendy pieces fit for every fashionista’s budget, Zara’s the one-stop shop and Holy Grail for savvy shoppers of both genders. You can stock up on work staples and going out must-haves without going into credit card debt. And when the words “Zara” and “sale” come together, everyone absolutely loses it. To help you keep your cool and stay in the know the next time a Zara sale hits, we rounded up 3 Zara newsletter hacks to make the most out of your shopping experience. You’re welcome.

  1. Subscribe. First thing’s first, if you want to be in the know of all things Zara, sign up for their newsletter. Don’t worry, it won’t overload your email and add to your ongoing database of junk mail. It takes about 5 seconds to do, and you’ll eternally reap the rewards. To subscribe, scroll down to the bottom of their website and enter your email. You get to select whether you’re shopping for Zara’s Woman, Man, or Kids line, so the newsletter comes tailored to your preferences. Once you enter your contact information, you’ll get a follow-up email confirming your subscription. Make sure you open this and actually click on “Subscribe” to start receiving the newsletter. And, just like that, you’ve officially become a well-informed Zara shopper. Welcome to the club. You can also sign up for their Home newsletter. Bet you didn’t even know they had a Home line!
  2. Check for sales. Even though Zara only has two major sales per year, one in the summer and one in the winter, they never announce them ahead of time. That is, unless, you’re a newsletter subscriber. Subscribers get an email heads-up a few hours before the sales typically start, which is short notice but definitely better than nothing. Come June and December, refresh your email daily for any updates on the lucrative semi annual sale. You need to be one of the first shoppers so you get dibs on hot-ticket items. The specific sale dates are about as mysterious and elusive as Beyoncé’s next album release, which is honestly half the fun of shopping there. It makes for a pleasant surprise when glorious “SALE” signs hits Zara storefronts.
  3. Scope out new arrivals. Zara’s constantly updating their massive inventory, so check the newsletter for any new pieces you might want to add to your stockpile. You get to see the clothes styled IRL through their glammed-up photo editorials, so you can develop some outfit inspo if you’re drawn to a particular item. Their recent newsletter highlighting their autumn/winter 2017 campaign looks like a high-fashion lookbook straight out of Vogue. The newsletters are strictly photo-based, so you’re not bogged down with paragraphs of texts and can quickly scroll through for your daily dose of fashion. The email’s subject lines also stay short and to the point, so you know before opening whether the content will appeal to you. But, honestly, you know it will. Newsletter themes vary based on the season, so one in March was dedicated to “Spring Knit,” and another in April showcased “Summer Trends.” No matter the topic, your fashion knowledge base will grow exponentially after you open each newsletter.
