It’s been a big year for jewelry designer Heidi Gardner. Her Creature Couture skull ring was featured in the September issue of W, and this weekend, Heidi’s designs will be seen on an even larger stage: the Super Bowl, during Madonna‘s half time show. Although we can’t guarantee what Madge will decide to wear on Sunday, the singer specifically asked for Heidi’s Logo Ring (above) for the performance after her stylist showed her images of line.

Banana Republic just announced that they’ll be doing a second Mad Men collection (with costume designer Janie Bryant). The original line, which launched last summer, included A-line dresses, cardigans and other Joan Holloway-approved separates. The 40-plus pieces will drop on March 1, just in time for the season premiere on March 25th.

Rachel Roy (a favorite designer of First Lady Michelle Obama [and us]) has announced plans to release a line of footwear that “represents the woman [she] wants to be.”

We’ve always had a love/hate relationship with the puffer coat. They’re uber-warm, super comfy, and you sort of feel like a puffy little cloud walking through the cold streets. However, we fear losing our figures among the marshmallow shape. To avoid the Michelin Man look, stick with slimming black styles.
