Under-eye circles are terrible to deal with. They pop up right after really long nights studying (or partying), and can't get fully covered even with a whole bottle of concealer! But, you don't have to live with those dark circles forever!

Many people don't realize that the food they eat can make or break your skin. Just a few adjustments to your diet can get kick those under-eye circles to the curb for good!

So, instead of going out and partying the night away, say in and eat some nutritious and delicious food that will help give your skin a fresh, clear glow! Livestrong recommends eating a protein-rich diet to help those dark circles under your eyes since anemia and iron deficiencies are major causes of dark circles. So, you should load up on some iron-rich whole grains to treat your under-eye circles!

Whole grains are great for getting the iron needed to pumping up blood flow in your skin! Iron deficiencies lower the supply of oxygen in your body tissue, causing the veins under your eye to be more pronounced, and a low iron supply can slow the production of new skin and body tissue. By eating protein and iron-packed whole grains, your supplying your body with the essential nutrients needed to revamp your skin!

Some helpful grains and foods that are packed with protein and iron include brown rice, oatmeal, and lentils. These foods also have vitamin C, which helps with iron absorption in the body. Eat these foods right before you go to bed to get clear, ageless skin!
