Coach has teamed up with famous French brand Saint James to create a collection of nautical themed ready-to-wear, handbags and accessories. The collection is a complete 180 from Coach’s previous collaboration with Krink, and we love Coach’s ability to jump from punky to super preppy. Chances are you know Saint James even if don’t recognize the name. The brand is the maker of the original Breton fisherman’s sweater–aka the iconic nautical striped crewneck you wear every summer (fun fact: the stripes made it easier to see sailors that had fallen overboard). Saint James, which originated in a small town in France over 100, has been worn by the likes of Coco Chanel and Audrey Hepburn (current fans include Alexa Chung and Gwyneth Paltrow). This new line combines Coach’s quality craftsmanship with Saint James’ classic aesthetic. Prices range from $88 for a beach towel to $128 for a bikini and $398 for a drawstring tote.
