They launch new sweet treats all the time, and their latest drop has some of the best items we’ve seen. We made a list of the top four best new dessert items from Trader Joe’s—check it out!

1. Strawberries & Cream Gelato
The newest dessert item at Trader Joe’s can be found in the freezer section: Strawberries & Cream Gelato. The Trader Joe’s website explains that the dessert is actually authentic—made in Italy with”strawberry purée, candied strawberry pieces, and actual vanilla bean specks.” Customers are already raving about it, calling it “the best gelato out there.”
The Trader Joe’s fan account @TraderJoesObsessed on Instagram dedicated a whole post to the dessert, calling it “so delicious” and reporting that they “would definitely get it again and add some cookie crumbles” for a little extra crunch. Stock up while you can!

2. Calamansi Mango Sorbet
Another freezer section newbie is the Calamansi Mango Sorbet. For just $3.79 for a whole pint, you can get these Philippines-inspired dessert—but only for a limited time. Here’s how the Trader Joe’s website describes it: “Combining the bracingly bright and tart tones of Calamansi (a lime-like citrus fruit native to the Philippines) with the lush, tropical flavors of Mango (the national fruit of the Philippines, no less!), each spoonful of this seasonal Sorbet is beautifully balanced between its sweet and sour elements.”
Sounds delicious! And Trader Joe’s customers agree. @TraderJoesObsessed says that they would “definitely get this again,” and is also considering making “a fun boozy float” with it. Here us out: Calamari Mango Daquiri!

3. Chocolate Cheesecake Bites
And…we’re back in the freezer section! These Chocolate Cheesecake Bites might be our favorite on the list. As Trader Joes’ describes them, they’re “party-sized squares of tangy, velvety, chocolate chip-studded cheesecake, perched atop rich, extra-chocolatey crumble crust.” Need we say more?
Customers have taken to Instagram to share their thoughts, writing, “They look delish!” and “These were so good!” Another user mentioned that they’ve “already gone through 3 boxes!” These won’t be available for much longer, so stock up while you can!

4. Caramel Palmiers
And finally, Trader Joe’s just launched a limited-edition package of Caramel Palmiers, made in France by a century-old, family-owned bakery. Layers of puff pastry covered in butter and sugar, rolled up and cut into individual heart-shaped cookies, then baked until the butter and sugar is caramelized, these cookies are addicting—there’s no other way to say it.
One customer said that they taste best “dipped in a hot cup of coffee,” and another added that these cookies are their “new favorite product.” These will only be available for a few more weeks, so grab them while they’re still available!
