It was the breakup heard around the world when Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt called it quits. While their divorce isn’t quite finalized just yet, both Jolie and Pitt are considered legally single. While the newfound single life may lead Pitt to date and wed again someday, Jolie has much different plans in store for her future.
An inside source recently revealed to US Weekly that Jolie’s marriage to Pitt wasn’t always ideal. The source said that the 44-year-old actress “will never get married again,” and that “she felt that Brad pressured her” into tying the knot.

Although the famous duo married in 2014 and announced their divorce just two years later in 2016, Jolie and Pitt shared an entire decade together as a couple. Jolie and Pitt also share six children together: Maddox (18), Pax (15), Zahara (14), Shiloh (13), and twins Knox and Vivienne (11). The break up has reportedly been difficult to deal with for the Jolie-Pitt crew, especially for their oldest son Maddox.

In a video interview with In Touch, Maddox dodged a question revolving around the idea of Pitt visiting him while he’s on campus at the Yonsei University in Incheon, South Korea. “Um, I don’t know about that...what’s happening,” Maddox replied. He also added that in terms of his relationship with Pitt, “whatever happens, happens.”
Luckily, Jolie keeps her kids close and has recently been seen bringing them to premiere events for her new movie Maleficent: Mistress of Evil.
Despite the divorce and continuing to raise six children, Jolie consistently stays busy as an actress.
Apart from traveling for the Maleficent: Mistress of Evil premieres, Jolie also recently confirmed that she will be joining the Marvel Universe for the upcoming film The Eternals, expected to be released in November 2020.
