"Two years ago, on April Fools, I secretly married my best friend in New Orleans. The magic of that day is ingrained in every cell of my being, forever," she wrote.
The musician marked their anniversary on Instagram as well, writing, "I love you now and somehow I always have and somehow it will never end. Happy two year anniversary (yesterday), beautiful,” he wrote.
As reported by People, the 28-year-old actress and McRae crossed paths for the first time at the premiere of her popular series The Queen’s Gambit in 2021.
Fast forward a year, and the duo stepped out together publicly for the first time at a pre-Oscar party in Los Angeles (check out her stunning Dior piece she wore at this year's Oscars), almost one month before their wedding in New Orleans.
