Apple may be offering more free content, aka hundreds of hours of shows and movies. Here’s how to get it!

If you recall, the company offered a free one-year subscription to Apple TV+ in October of last year. The promotion was meant to drive sign-ups for the new streaming platform.

The company understood that viewers have a lot of options when it comes to streaming subscriptions these days (ahem, Netflix, Hulu, and more) and used the free year offer to drive millions of sign-ups via iTunes accounts.

But sadly, a lot of those free year subscriptions are about to run out, with the company facing huge loss in subscribers.

Bloomberg reports that they are looking into extending the trial offer so those subscribers can stay on the platform (and get hooked to their news shows).

 

A source told the publisher, "The company is considering keeping a free access offer to lure new subscribers but with a reduced period of time."

But that's not all--the article also reveals Apple's plans to bring AR content to the Apple TV in an effort to woo subscribers. Wow, this streaming race is getting so exciting! What will they offer next?
