Ariana Grande‘s fans are in for a treat as the multi-talented singer and actress, 28, is set to play the iconic role of Glinda, The Good Witch in the film adaptation of the beloved musical, Wicked. In order to prepare for her role, Grande stopped by a current showing of the Broadway production and took sweet photos with its Glinda actress, Brittney Johnson, backstage in a baby-pink, décolletage-exposing bustier top. The chic look highlighted her slim, toned and petite frame so well!

The “positions” hitmaker rocked the essential “good witch” bubblegum-pink shade with a matching overcoat in the same color and paired both pieces with periwinkle-blue skinny jeans. She put her long brown locks into her signature sleek high-ponytail with a classic Wicked-logo black baseball cap as she exited the theater (looking like a real New Yorker with her hat choice and a Playbill in hand). For gorgeous accessories, Grande donned a matching rose-colored mask, a long, glamorous pearl necklace designed by Chanel and also snapped pink barrettes in her hair to hold it in place. She stepped out of the show wearing slip-on, fur-embellished kitten heels. So cute!

While attending the show, Grande promoted the musical on her story and expressed her admiration for the cast and crew. Lead actress Johnson (who stars as Glinda, which Grande will be taking on) shared photos of them together in a February 20th Instagram post. “What a treat having the future Miss Bubble Queen in the audience last night! @arianagrande you have such a kind and beautiful spirit,” Johnson wrote. “It was so lovely meeting you, and I can’t WAIT to see your take on this character whom we both love so much! I am so very proud of you.”
