The 38-year-old White Lotus star turned heads when she arrived at the Fairmont Century Plaza in a breathtaking metallic bronze Michael Kors Collection column gown that was reportedly hand-embroidered with over 76,000 sequins! Aubrey Plaza Shows A Lot Of Skin In Criss-Cross Michael Kors Dress At The SAG Awards
The glamorous, 70s-inspired dress featured a criss-cross halter-neck front that *barely* covered her modesty, as well as one of the most exposed cutouts in the middle to show off her insanely sculpted abs, *and* a super-dramatic high slit in the front. We think there was more skin than dress in Aubrey’s look, but we think she slayed on the red carpet and throughout the ceremony! The actress accessorized with matching Rupert Sandro heels and Mouawad Jewelry, but it’s clear that the glittering dress was the main attraction!

Did Aubrey Plaza Have A Wardrobe Malfunction At The SAG Awards?
When the Parks and Recreation alum took to the stage to accept the ‘Best Ensemble in a Drama Series’ award with the rest of her White Lotus co-stars, she appeared to be a little frustrated. But of course she wasn’t frustrated with the show’s win, she seemed to be frustrated with her dress, which many fans thought caused her discomfort throughout the night, but in particular when she joined her co-stars on stage.
The Daily Mail reports that at one point, co-star Jon Gries warned Aubrey thar her “boob was hanging out” of her gown, which could be why fans saw the Legion actress looking down at and fiddling with the top, with an insider telling the pub: “There were a couple of different things going on in that moment. First, she was told that her boob was hanging out which would cause any woman to be uncomfortable. Then she was almost elbowed in the face and her reaction was a direct result of that.” Wardrobe malfunction or not, we still think she looked incredible!
Aubrey Plaza’s Stylist Defends The Dress
Understandably, the style and fit of the dress was called into question on social media following the alleged wardrobe malfunction, which then led Aubrey’s stylist, Jessica Paster, to defend the look. In the comments section of a February 27th Instagram post by Check the Tag, which had a lot of comments from fans discussing the look, Jessica said: “Did seven fittings…for real.” She went on to suggest that the risqué fit of the dress was intentional, adding, “I wanted underboob,” followed by a red heart emoji.

Mixed Fan Reactions
Aubrey’s look certainly divided the internet. Although most fans unanimously agreed that Aubrey looked gorgeous, many of them thought she was let down by the fit, with some suggesting that the dress should have had more material.
“This fit is horrible and not flattering on her at all,” one fan said. “The straps could be better adjusted, but I love the color, and hair and makeup look amazing,” noted another fan. “The straps look too tight that’s all,” concurred another. “Stunning but definitely the straps could be wider or fitted different,” suggested another. “The color and shimmer is gorgeous but the very large cutout design looks awkward, unflattering and a bit try-hard,” said another, while another added: “Bad fit and the front slit looks awkward and chewed up.”
Much more positive comments included: “Love this moment,” and “Wow! Her best look ever!” followed by a hand praising emoji and a fire emoji. “It’s perfect. The underboob is what makes it interesting!” exclaimed another approving fan.
