The task of covering wrinkles and crow’s feet in the eye area with makeup may seem intimidating, but it can be conquered with ease. Jessica Perez, a popular beauty content creator on TikTok, has recently shared a useful tip for those who want to diminish the appearance of wrinkles around the eyes with setting spray alone.

In a video for her 118K followers, Perez demonstrates how to use the hydrating product to conceal eye wrinkles for a more youthful and refreshed look. Her clever trick doesn’t even need a brush or beauty sponge or blender, and offers a simple solution for anyone looking to reduce the appearance of fine lines without undergoing invasive procedures or treatments.

Pro Makeup Tip For Concealing Under-Eye Wrinkles Apply Setting Spray To The Area With Your Finger

“I want to show you a trick, if you’re like me and have lots of wrinkles all over your face, you want to get a setting spray and just spray it on your finger, no sponge needed, no brush needed, just get it on your finger and that way you have total control over it,” Perez said in the clip.

She added that it’s best to apply the setting spray from your finger to your under-eye area after covering darkness and wrinkles with a “cream” concealer. “You’re just going to dab [the setting spray on your finger] underneath your eye and it’s going to set that cream,” she explained.

How Setting Spray Can 'Lock In' Your Under-Eye Concealer

The beauty enthusiast went on to say that the cream itself could "flake off" if not set with setting spray. By applying this with your finger rather than simply spraying it onto the area, you can get the product to work more to your advantage.

"It's going to keep moving with you all day, so by using that setting spray around your eye, it is going to lock the cream in and you won't have any creasing or anything on your cream makeup," she went on.

The expert also noted that she uses the Seint Stay Setting Spray ($33) as her go-to for achieving a long-lasting makeup look under her eyes.

The liquid spray is specifically designed to keep makeup in place in this delicate area for extended periods of time. To maximize the effectiveness of the product,

Seint also advises applying it both before and after makeup application, especially if you have oily skin. The more you know!
