Dua Lipa isn’t the only one bringing back the hottest Y2K trends, as Bella Hadid has also just rocked one of our favorite pieces from the early aughts!
The 25-year-old model – who has really been wowing us with her sartorial style both on and off the catwalk these past few weeks – wore a printed handkerchief dress when she attended an event for non-alcoholic drink brand Kin Euphorics at The Fleur Room in West Hollywood on Friday, June 24th. And our minds are completely blown!
Bella's handkerchief dress was predominantly pink, and featured a black and silver printed design all over, as well as a halter-neck plunging front (so very Y2K!) and an asymmetric midi hem commonly referred to as a handkerchief hem. There was a lot going on, but everything worked perfectly! Bella finished off her look with some simple strappy black heeled sandals, and wore her hair in a style that we were all rocking back in the 2000s, i.e., a sleek yet understated high pony.
We know that the early 2000s sometimes gets a bad reputation as far as its fashion is concerned, but we don’t think this trend is one of the offenders. We want more A-listers to step out in this unfairly controversial trend!
