Ben Affleck Reportedly Couldn't Enjoy The 'Greasy' Foods He Liked While He And Jennifer Lopez Were Married
The Argo actor felt like his wife-at-the-time was too "controlling," to quote one report, as she was depriving him of many of the things he loved. More specifically, junk food!
We know that the JLo Beauty founder has a very strict health and fitness routine, so things like greasy and sugary foods and drinks were unsurprisingly off the table for both of them. And that seemingly contributed a lot to the failure of the marriage!
RadarOnline's source reportedly said that the Batman v Superman star loves "McDonald's, Taco Bell, Jack in the Box, and Starbucks coffee drinks and treats." However, the source said: "When he got back with Jennifer, Ben felt deprived of his favorite foods and snacks and sodas."
The source went on to explain that the Air actor's cleaner and healthier diet that was forced on him by his then-wife was a big reason for him looking so miserable while they were married.
"That's why he looked so grumpy all the time. He was in total withdrawal. He missed his grease and sugar rush," the insider explained, adding: "Ben can stuff his face with whatever he wants now, and Jennifer can't do a thing about it – because she's clear across town."
"Now that (Lopez) is finally gone, he can go to town and put his stomach through the kind of workout only he can appreciate," they continued. The insider also went on to say that junk food isn't the only thing that Affleck is enjoying since divorcing the Unstoppable actress, as he has reportedly started smoking cigarettes again.
