We haven’t been able to stop thinking and talking about Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez since they rekindled their early noughties romance earlier this year. The 49-year-old actor really opened up about his feelings while walking the red carpet for one of his new movies last week – and although Lopez wasn’t his plus one on that occasion and he attended the premiere alone, it was clear that the 52-year-old “Jenny from the Block” singer was at the front of his mind. Aww – those two are the epitome of couple goals!
While walking the red carpet for The Tender Bar, which is based on the book by J.R. Moehringe and is directed by George Clooney, Affleck opened up about how he is doing since getting back together with his ex – and we can’t believe how much he had to say! Why can’t all famous faces be this forthcoming? “It is a very happy time in my life. Life is good,” Affleck told Extra’s Jenn Lahmers at the premiere. “I love this movie [The Tender Bar], and The Last Duel, October 15, which I am really proud of,” he continued, referencing his other movie that is also due to be released this month.

Bennifer, as we like to refer to them, got back together in May earlier this year, after she and baseball player Alex Rodriguez called off their engagement. They first dated back in 2001, before parting ways in early 2004. The couple will learn whether absence really does make the heart grow fonder, as they will be spending some time apart over the next few months. Ben will be shooting the thriller, Hypnotic, in Austin, Texas, while Jen will be all the way in Canada filming her new Netflix sci-fi show, Atlas. Will their relationship survive the distance? We think so; as do insiders, who insist that the lovebirds reportedly plan on "making it work" while they are apart...
