Everyone puts their own spin on professional office wear, but Jennifer Lopez is a celeb who follows the beat of her own drum in a major way. When the mega talented actress, singer, and dancer showed up for a mysterious Netflix press event, she showed up big-time — dressed in a look that was head-to-toe professional, with her J.Lo trademark: abs to die for. That’s right, get ready to see how Jennifer Lopez would look working at the cubicle next to you — you’re not going to believe her ab-baring top and it might inspire you to take more business casual style risks.
Jennifer brought her A-game when she appeared at a Netflix event wearing a monochrome cream three-piece suit that consisted of chic wide-legged trousers, an ‘80s-style oversized blazer, and a bandeau crop top. Yes, a crop top! Showing off the look on her Instagram, she left her blazer wide open to reveal the fun fashion choice, but all anyone noticed was how breathtaking the overall effect proved to be.
“Omg you are gorgeous,” wrote one Instagram fan, while another gushed, “QUEEN.” And J.Lo’s accomplishments in the industry were not overshadowed by her amazing look, either, with one fan raving, “I'm proud of you.”
In a second shot, J.Lo also embraced a beige neutral shade, wearing a glam full-length dress with clever cut-outs that put the spotlight on those abs once again.
So the real question, aside from how she manages to pull off one fabulous look after another, is: what does Jennifer have in store for us at Netflix? A few months ago, J.Lo signed an epic multi-year production deal with Netflix in which Jen’s very own Nuyorican Productions will develop feature films and TV series for the streaming giant. The latest buzz is centered around a sci-fi thriller project called Atlas that Jennifer will star in and produce. Jennifer is thought to be playing Atlas, a woman at war with an AI soldier to save Earth from robot domination. A release date for the project has yet to be announced. One thing is for sure, though, Jennifer — and her killer wardrobe — will be ready when it’s time to walk that red carpet at the premiere.
