Dairy foods get a bad rap for causing stomach issues. While lactose intolerance is very real, there are actually certain dairy foods that help, not hurt, your digestive system.

Greek yogurt is one dairy product that does a ton of good for your body. Not only does it have two times more protein than other yogurts, some also contain "live cultures" which are probiotics. This healthy bacteria helps maintain gut health, which is essential to metabolism and digestion, and boosts immunity.

The calcium in low-fat feta can keep weight gain from happening by preventing cellular changes that cause fat storage

 

mozzarella cheese

Another benefit to low-fat cheeses is the protein and fat content, which help you feel full and prevent cravings of unhealthy food.
