"When you overeat before bed, your body is much more likely to store those calories as fat," nutritionist Manuel Villacorta, R.D. told Men's Fitness.

If you really want to lose weight, but can't give up the midnight snacking, try eating healthier options that won't impact your waistline! Don't munch on fatty foods when there are tons of tasty alternatives out there that won't ruin your diet.

Having a tasty snack before bed doesn't have to kill your diet. As long as it's less than 300 calories, you're fine! Anything more than that is considered a meal, so watch out. Also, make sure you're eating your snack at least an hour before going to bed to give yourself time to digest, and you'll be seeing a thinner body in no time!
