Blake Lively Celebrates Judge's Dismissal of Justin Baldoni Lawsuit

In December 2024, Lively sued Baldoni for sexual harassment and retaliation. In January 2025, Baldoni countersued, alleging defamation and extortion. However, as of June 9th, Baldoni's case has been dismissed. According to one source, speaking to People, "[Blake]'s obviously relieved. The both are," they said, referring to her husband, Ryan Reynolds. "Everyone is happy."

A separate source noted that Lively "cried with relief" after hearing the news, though according to legal experts, it's not over yet. Baldoni's lawyer, Bryan Freedman, released a statement on June 10 that said Lively's "predictable declaration of victory is false" and that he and his team plans to "march forward with the same confidence that we had when Ms. Lively and her cohorts initiated this battle and look forward to her forthcoming deposition."
