Blake Lively Posts 'Thirst Trap' Of Ryan Reynolds

Back in May, Blake Lively shared a selfie of her and her husband on her Instagram stories. In the photo, as she grins at the camera in a strapless patterned top and sunglasses, Ryan holds a plate of cookies and raspberries and gives the camera a smile. His toned biceps are on full display in a white tank top, a fact that Lively wastes no time emphasizing. Her next story is the same photo—just zoomed in so Reynolds' bicep fills the frame. Lively set the selfie to the Ohio Express song, "Yummy Yummy Yummy," and the zoomed in shot to "Yummy Yummy" by Justin Bieber. Is she trying to tell us something?

Just yesterday, Lively posted yet another thirst trap of her husband, this time a snap of the actor leaning against a countertop and wearing a simple sweatshirt and jeans. In addition to a silver watch and a duo of bracelets, he also sported a mini Hermès Kelly bag, which can retail for anywhere between $25k - $50k. "My account has officially turned into an onlyfans," she captioned the photo, referring to her influx of Ryan Reynolds photos.

Social Media Reactions

Across social media platforms, users didn't quite agree with Blake's fawning over her husband, and instead thought the incessant posting about him was a bit "narcissistic" and in some instances, "nauseating."

"That just reeks of desperation," one user wrote on X.

"Every time there's bad press, it's suddenly another Ryan Reynolds appreciation post," another person pointed out. "The timing is never subtle."

"Nobody posts this many 'look at my husband' photos unless they're trying to change the conversation," agreed the next.

"The PR strategy is getting predictable," added another.

"Not the emergency Ryan Reynolds content deployment," joked the next.

"She's posting like someone refreshing Google every five minutes," a final user wrote.

'It Ends With Us' Lawsuit Settles

This comes just weeks after her shocking announcement that she and Justin Baldoni had reached a settlement and their lawsuit was no longer going to trial.

"The end product—the movie 'It Ends With Us'—is a source of pride to all of us who worked to bring it to life," the pair wrote in a joint statement posted to their Instagram accounts. "Raising awareness, and making a meaningful impact in the lives of domestic violence survivors–and all survivors—is a goal that we stand behind."

"We acknowledge the process presented challenges and recognize concerns raised by Ms. Lively deserved to be heard," the statement continues. "We remain firmly committed to workplaces free of improprieties and unproductive environments. It is our sincere hope that this brings closure and allows all involved to move forward constructively and in peace, including a respectful environment online."
